What’s happening in AiG Month?
AiG Month includes insightful events, talks and online activities covering interesting and useful content, enabling you to connect with analysts from all different departments, grades and professions.
Professor Sir Ian Diamond, Head of the Analysis Function and National Statistician will kick off our action-packed events calendar with a launch event on 1 May at 14:00. Details coming soon!
Since AiG Month began in 2020, we’ve held hundreds of events, with thousands of colleagues tuning in to learn more about important analysis work and develop their analysis skills.
AiG Month events and activities will be:
- taking place throughout May 2025
- listed on our new AiG Month Hub
- listed on our Eventbrite page (follow us there to find out about new events as they are scheduled)
- virtual and held using Microsoft Teams, dial in (or present) wherever you are based
- held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting at 10:00, 12:00, and 14:00
- totally free to attend!

Who is Analysis in Government Month for?
Analysis in Government Month is designed for government analysts, but is open to everyone. This includes but is not limited to:
- Members of the Analysis Function
- Local government analysts
- Academics and analysts in non-government organisations
- Aspiring analysts (both within and outside of government)
- Policy professionals, Finance professionals and Operational Delivery Professionals
- Other Civil Servants
- Anyone with an interest in government analysis
