This short course provides the theoretical knowledge you need to begin using geography for statistical purposes.

We suggest combining this course with either Introduction to QGIS, Introduction to GIS in R or Introduction to GIS in Python. Doing so will provide you with a good theoretical and practical knowledge to begin using geography with statistics in your analysis.

QGIS is a geographic information system (GIS) software that is free and open-source. QGIS was previously also known as Quantum GIS.
