The MSc in Data Analytics for Government (MDataGov) is a unique and flexible part-time degree programme that combines modules in statistics and data science. The programme improves data science capability across government by equipping civil servants with the skills needed by a modern government data analyst.
The modules of the MDataGov can be taken as standalone training courses with optional assessment.

Locations
Some standalone modules are run at the Newport and Titchfield offices of the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Some modules are run at the University of Southampton and some are run as distance learning modules by the University of Glasgow.
