Spaces available on introductory R and Python courses

The Data Science Campus Faculty team are pleased to announce that they are re-launching lecturer led sessions for the Introduction to R and Introduction to Python courses.

There has been a lot of interest in these courses and many of the places have now been booked. However, there are still some places available on both courses in October.

Introduction to R

There are a limited number of spaces available on this course. The course will be taught across 4 sessions, which will take place on:

  • Wednesday 19 October from 9:30am to 1pm
  • Thursday 20 October from 9:30am to 1pm
  • Wednesday 26 October from 9:30am to 1pm
  • Thursday 27 October from 9:30am to 1pm

You will need to be able to attend all of the sessions to enrol on the course. You will also need to be able to meet some software requirements to take part. You can find more information about the course and the software requirements on the Learning Hub.

Introduction to Python

There are a limited number of spaces available on this course. The course will be taught across 4 sessions, which will take place on:

  • Monday 17 October from 9:30am to 1pm
  • Tuesday 18 October from 12:30pm to 4pm
  • Monday 24 October from 9:30am to 1pm
  • Tuesday 25 October from 12:30pm to 4pm

You will need to be able to attend all of the sessions to enrol on the course. You will also need to be able to meet some software requirements to take part. You can find more information about the course and the software requirements on the Learning Hub.

How to enrol on the courses

You can register your interest in these courses by emailing the Data Science Campus Faculty team at Data.Science.Campus.Faculty@ons.gov.uk. Spaces will be given on a first come first served basis. Once all spaces are filled, applicants will be placed on a waitlist for future course dates.
