Automatically produce best practice spreadsheets
If you publish spreadsheets on public facing government websites you have hopefully heard about our guidance on releasing statistics in spreadsheets.
A big part of this guidance concentrates on how to make spreadsheets accessible. We know it is not always easy to do this, especially when you publish lots of large spreadsheets. That is why we are happy to announce our Reproducible Analytical Pipelines (RAP) team have been working on a Python programme that aims to automate this process.
You can find out more about this work in a blog post from the RAP team titled ‘Automatically produce best practice spreadsheets’ .
There’s also some nice package documentation or you can go straight to the source code.
