Leaders in Analysis: Exploring analytical careers across the UK

The Analysis Function popular Leaders in Analysis career building events are back for 2023 with this session featuring four senior analysts who share their career histories and reflect on their experiences of progressing their careers and growing their networks in a variety of locations across the UK.

The session will also be an opportunity to learn more about a range of locations available to government analysts outside of London and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.

Speakers

The session will be facilitated by Sharron Ford, Deputy Director for People Capability at the Office for National Statistics (ONS), and we’ll be joined for the conversation by:

• Andrew Mellon – Head of the Schools and Funding Analysis Division at the Department for Education (DfE), based in Sheffield

• Darren Morgan – Director of Economic Statistics Production & Analysis, and the Head of Campus at the Darlington Economic Campus for the Office for National Statistics (ONS), based in Newport and Darlington

• Becky Tinsley – Deputy Director for Social Statistics Transformation, Analysis and Research Lead at the Office for National Statistics (ONS), based in Titchfield

• Sian Rasdale – Deputy Director, Head of the Global Science Department at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), based in Abercrombie House, East Kilbride
