Senior Statistician

The Cabinet Office’s Equality Data and Analysis Division is recruiting for a Senior Statistician to produce an evidence base to support equality policy for the government.

The post holder will need to work at pace while producing good quality analysis and products to support decision making.  This will include identifying differences in, for example, people’s employment patterns, pay, and education, as well as understanding why those differences exist.

The role will use coding skills to develop automated methods to share data and briefing with:

• ministers
• special advisors
• policy officials
• major stakeholders inside and outside of the government
