About this vacancy

MOD are recruiting two C2/HEO badged analysts into a new team in the Analysis Directorate to provide analytical support to the Defence Afghan Relocation and Resettlement (DARR) Directorate.

DARR is one of the highest priorities within Defence. The relocation and resettlement of Afghan citizens is a complex and time constrained operation that requires significant analytical support. It is a high-profile and fast paced area of work and gives the successful candidate the opportunity to develop analytical skills whilst working closely with policy customers and being involved with one of the highest-profile programmes in MOD.

The team consists of six analysts and sits in Financial and Economic Analysis in Analysis Directorate. It is responsible for developing products, systems and processes that allow DARR to better use and understand their data and the challenges within the current process.

Both posts are reserved for UK nationals and require SC clearance before joining with the willingness to undergo developed vetting once appointed.

The Baselining and Data Management Analyst post requires attendance in Main Building a minimum of 2 days per week

The Modelling Analyst post requires attendance in Main Building a minimum of 4 days per week

Location: London Main Building (other locations may be considered if the applicant is willing to travel to MB for the required attendance rate per week – twice a week for the Baselining and Data Management analyst post; four times a week for the Modelling analyst post).

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
