The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) are looking for a capable, motivated individual lead our Operational Excellence (OpEx) Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational compliance and excellence.

You will also work across FCDO Yemen to lead work across the network on monitoring, use of evidence and data, and strategic planning. This will support the particularly high level of scrutiny around the UK’s work in Yemen and commensurate political interest. The post holder will:

  • work to ensure that policies and programmes are evidence-based and provide maximum impact through effective learning and knowledge dissemination
  • work to ensure that programmes are also providing new learning and evidence, where possible
  • support the Country Board and work across all teams in the network
