We are looking for a Band A, or Grade 7, Deputy Head of Statistics.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity, allowing the successful candidate to influence the way a department’s entire statistics service operates. You will:
- help to maintain the reputation of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) as a responsible user and producer of data and statistics
- use effective dissemination to draw together the story of DCMS sectors
- ensure DCMS has access to the data it needs
This Band A portfolio was previously a coronavirus (COVID-19) specific role, but will no longer be. Over the first few months, you will need to lead your team of 3 through this transition as responsibilities change and develop.
