This role is based within the Joint Funds Unit (JFU) Evidence and Data Hub (EDH). The Unit aims to produce timely, relevant and reliable evidence that is used consistently to inform strategic and programme decision-making. The Hub includes both Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and Data Analytics expertise.

The successful candidate will:

  • liaise with the leadership team to ensure the team is meeting its strategic priorities
  • liaise with colleagues across government to build relationships with similar capabilities
  • be responsible for setting the strategy and scope of the Data Analytics branch of the Evidence and Data Hub — this involves identifying risks and ensuring the team is deployed effectively across a diverse range of tasks
  • be a self-starter and someone who is comfortable working with agility
  • be able to communicate effectively
  • have a passion to contribute to an innovative working environment that welcomes a diversity of ideas
