The Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem) is recruiting for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovation Lead to promote the safe use of AI capabilities by their staff and empower their people to achieve Ofgem’s goals.

In this role, you will:

  • lead the promotion and rollout of AI and generative AI features in existing products and platforms Ofgem use
  • help the Ofgem Data Science team to develop their own Machine Learning and AI models over Ofgem’s private data — this includes Large Language Models
  • work with Data and Technology teams to tailor solutions that align with organisational objectives
  • create training materials to support safe and optimal use of these AI capabilities by staff emphasising safe and logical decision-making in their use
