Data acquisition learning pathway
Description
The Data Acquisition pathway is aimed at non-analysts, those new to using data or for those needing a refresh on good practices of acquiring data. It will provide a solid theory-based foundation for those analysing data, rather than collecting data themselves, to understand how it has been acquired.
Learning objectives
- Understand the Code of Practice and how it should be applied.
- Recognise how to apply ethical principles to any research or interaction with data.
- Understand the impact of sampling/’representative-ness’, bias and questionnaire design on producing high quality and subsequent analysis.
Length
This pathway contains five courses.
