Analysts help decision makers navigate complex challenges, and traditional methods can sometimes have limitations, which is where futures thinking comes in. Futures thinking complements analytical approaches by using tools like horizon scanning and trend analysis.
This introductory session is designed for civil servants new to the field of Futures, setting out the principles and techniques that are fundamental to Futures work. You’ll also find out about some of the ways the GO-Science Futures team can support you and your team through our advisory functions, capability building and through access to some of our resources.
