About this event

Strong analytical communities are built through connection, shared experience and collective action.

Launched in February 2024, the Black Analyst Forum (BAF) has grown to over 150 members across analytical professions and departments. BAF plays a vital role in building an inclusive culture.

In this session, the Black Analyst Forum (BAF) introduces its cross‑government network to the wider Analysis Function community. The session will outline who BAF is, why the network was created, and what it aims to achieve across government analytical professions.

You’ll hear about the experiences that have shaped the forum, the impact it is working towards, and how engaging with a broad cross‑government audience helps BAF test ideas, build momentum and strengthen its contribution to analysis in government.
