New datasets now available on the Integrated Data Service (IDS)
The Integrated Data Service (IDS) is a cross-government service, provided by the Office for National Statistics. It securely enables co-ordinated access to a range of high-quality data. The IDS has been designed to bring together readily accessible data for accredited researchers and analysts, facilitating quicker and broader collaborative analyses, critical to informing policy decisions and improving public services.
The IDS has recently unveiled the inclusion of 38 new datasets onto the platform. This expansion signifies a concerted effort to enhance coordinated access to a diverse array of high-quality data through the cloud-based platform.
Some of the exciting new datasets include:
- Census 2021 attributes England and Wales with geography
- General Lifestyle Survey, Great Britain
- Labour Force Survey and Annual Population Survey identifiable data
- O2 mobile network operator travel and location data, UK
