About this event

In the next ‘Science and Society’ webinar, Stephen Aldridge (Director of Analysis and Data, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government) will be joined by Professor Ted Cantle (Belong – The Cohesion and Integration Network),  Professor Daisy Fancourt (University College London) and Professor Dominic Abrams (University of Kent) to discuss the evidence on building cohesive societies.

Drawing on insights from policy and social sciences, the session will explore how intercultural models of community cohesion can promote trust and tolerance, the role of arts and culture in health and social outcomes, and the wider social dynamics and infrastructures that underpin social cohesion. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.

Please ensure to use a gov.uk email address when registering for this event.
