The Office for National Statistics (ONS) welcomes Dr Sarah Cattan from the Institute for Fiscal Studies for this latest Research Excellence Series talk.
Sarah’s team won last year’s ONS Research Excellence Award – Impact of Analysis. Their research evaluates the short and medium‑term effects of access to Sure Start centres on children’s education, health, crime, and social care outcomes, using a wide range of administrative data and a full cost‑benefit analysis.
The work uses Longitudinal Education Outcomes (LEO) Iteration 2 – England, available through the ONS Secure Research Service.
