Chris Chambers, Deputy Director of the Geospatial Commission, will present a digital Government Major Programme about creating the National Underground Asset Register (NUAR). NUAR is a digital map of underground pipes and cables that revolutionises the way we install, maintain, operate and repair our buried infrastructure. The Register aggregates data from over 730 organisations across the public and private sectors and makes it instantly available.

When working on this project Chris had to consider issues around intellectual property and balance security considerations against opening access to data. Join the webinar to find out how Chris and his team overcame these issues and gain insight into how projects of this scale are governed.

There will be a question and answer session at the end of the webinar.
