This training module introduces the basic concept of a time series. You do not need to know anything about time series to study this module.
The module explains some of the typical properties of time series and common analysis methods. There is also a self-guided exercise with answers provided.
This is the first in a series of related training modules. There are three modules in total, which must be completed in the following order:
- Awareness in time series
- Awareness in seasonal adjustment
- Awareness in forecasting
